The name Randy’s Tree Service conjures the image of a guy showing up in a pickup with a chain saw, but this morning saw the arrival of a half-dozen men with a half-dozen pieces of heavy equipment who went about their work with purpose and dispatch. The result is a re-engineered side yard with a greatly reduced threat of any tottering old trees falling down upon my head. Not sure how this changes the drainage pattern, but it does seem to offer a chance that grass will ultimately grow on the hillside.
